We had our 2nd Qualifier for the 2022 season last Saturday at Jordan Lake. The Good Lord Blessed us with good weather for a change.Thank You Lord! We had 67 boats come out Saturday to try and figure out what has been a very STINGY Jordan Lake. I got alot of bad stories about Friday the official practice day and Saturday didn’t seem to be much better for alot of guys. But as always in tournament fishing you can count on it that some will figure it out.The team of Chris Wimbish & Kevin Brown got it figured out. They come to the scales with a 5 fish limit weighing 24.67 pounds. That earned them the WIN and a check for $2085.00 with the TWT. They also got the Nitro Rewards contingency money for the amount of $7000.00 bringing their total to $9285.00 for their WIN. Great job guys! Well deserved! They were followed by the team of Allen & Allen who brought in a 5 fish limit weighing 22.84 pounds. They also won Big Fish for the day bringing their total to $1305.00 Good job guys!

Now let’s get to the Caswell Glass Heritage Trail. We had 4 teams show up for the day to give it a try. At the end of the day it was the Father/ Son team of Galvin & Galvin with the Win. They brought in a bag weighing 11.26 pounds earning them the 2nd ever Heritage Trail Win. They got Plaques,  2 Favorite fishing rods and two $50.00 Bass Pro Shops gift cards from Tarheel Flooring. We were all excited to see Mr. Robert Galvin and his 6 year old son take the win. That will be a day that young man will never forget! Great job guys! They were followed by the team of Gray & Garber with a bag weighing 1.90 pounds. That earned them two $25.00 Bobcats Bait and Tackle Gift Cards. Good job guys!

Folks if you know anyone looking for a great opportunity to get a kid started in fishing at a fraction of the price please let them know. This Trail will grow into something big we hope.

At the end of the weigh in we had a drawing for a $50.00 Bass Pro Shops gift card and Mr. JT Harrell won it. Logan Jennings won the Daves Tournament Tackle tackle pack.

All in all we had a great turn out with some great people. I’ve said it before and I will say it again.  We have the best group of fishermen and fisherwomen that we could ever ask for!

We want to Thank everyone who came out and fished with us Saturday.  THANK YALL!

Last but not least we want to say THANK YOU  to all of our 2022 sponsors.  Without them we can’t make this happen. Yall please check out all the pictures and take a look at all of our sponsors. If yall need any of their services please give them a call. They will take care of yall! I GUARANTEE IT!!

Our next Qualifier will be at Mayo Lake on 4/16/22. It’s going to be a slug fest for sure. Can’t wait to see yall there.
