The weather was great for the Piedmont Bass Classics St. Patrick’s Day Open, our 2nd open tournament of the year, with 34 teams showing up in 59 degree morning temps and afternoon temps around 70. The winds were lightfor the most of the day and the water level was right at normal pool. Water temps ranged from 59 to 67 degrees and the water clarity was good. 95 bass were weighed in for a total weight of 365 pounds. The bass are starting tohead to the shallows now that the water is warming up and the spawning process should begin soon!!

Tony Fofi & Dave Murdock weighed in 5 bass at 26.99 lbs to take 1st Place and 1st Place TWT for a total of $1,716 and trophies!

2nd Place team was Bobby & Brandon Gregory with 5 bass weighing 24.04 lbs. They also won 1st place Big Fish(8.25) to take home a total of $1,094.

Fishing alone, Samuel Baggett took 3rd Place with 5 weighing 22.11 lbs for$510 in prize money!Most bass were caught with crankbaits, jerkbaits, RatLTraps and WLS Shakey Heads.

We weighed a good number of bass 5 lbs. or better!!!I want to thank all the anglers that participated and all our sponsors. Our next tournament will be the 2016Piedmont Bass Classics $10,000 Spring Team Bass Trail Qualifier #2, Saturday March 19th also at Jordan Lakeout of Farrington Point Wildlife Ramp.
