TNT Fireworks Presenting Sponsor Of The Costa Bassmaster High School Series

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The booming growth of the B.A.S.S. High School Nation program is gaining momentum with a new presenting sponsor joining the popular tournament program.

TNT Fireworks is now the presenting sponsor of the Costa Bassmaster High School Series. The brand is the nation’s largest distributor of consumer fireworks and sparklers with thousands of retail locations nationwide.

“We are thrilled to partner with B.A.S.S. and be the presenting sponsor for this year’s Costa Bassmaster High School Series,” said Tommy Glasgow, president of TNT. “This series has become the nation’s premier youth bass fishing competition, and we are excited to play a role in helping these exceptional teenagers mature and compete at the highest level in this sport.”

“We applaud TNT Fireworks for recognizing the passionate audience among high school anglers and their fans,” said Bruce Akin, B.A.S.S. CEO. “Support from a company like TNT Fireworks reinforces the fact that bass fishing is more than a competitive sport — it’s a lifestyle activity enjoyed by people of all ages.”

The 2015 Costa Bassmaster High School Series presented by TNT Fireworks is in the midst of a full slate of events. Coming up is the National Championship July 22-25 on Kentucky Lake at Paris, Tenn.

The B.A.S.S. High School Nation is helping shape the future of the sport, one high school club at a time. Club members enjoy camaraderie and competition, as well as education and conservation programs.

As part of the B.A.S.S. High School Nation, anglers can compete in the B.A.S.S. High School Nation Opens and in the B.A.S.S. High School Nation Championship. Teen anglers can also attend the High School Elite Experience, a free opportunity for anglers who live near certain Bassmaster Elite Series tour stops.

A new addition to the program is the Bassmaster High School All-State and All-American Fishing Teams, which honor the most successful competitive bass anglers in the country.
