Nicest day we’ve had this summer at Jordan Lake!  The weather was nice with air temps around 67 degrees in the

am on up to 88 at the 3pm weighin. Water temps averaged about 80 degrees. Winds were what kept everythingbearable and cooler!!  A light breeze in the am and picking up to around 8 to 10 in the pm. The turnout was great with47 teams going for the top prize. There were a good number of bass weighed in today in the 4 to 7 lb. range. The basslooked well fed and very healthy for this time of year!

The team of Ronnie Hart & Danny Woodell won 1st Place, weighing in 5 bass at 19.70 lbs. and also won the 1st PlaceBig Fish Award (8.08 lbs.) for a total of $1,688 in winnings. The team said most of their bass were caught off channelpoints in 10 to 12′ or more of depth using mostly crankbaits.

Close behind, the veteran team of Tommy & Roy Blackwood took 2nd with 5 fish weighing 19.60 lbs. & they alsowon 2nd Place Big Fish (7.71) to pocket a total of $872. The 3rd place team, Jaime Fajardo & Josh Hooks, caught 5weighing 19.55 lbs. and also won the 1st Place TWT for a grand total of $1,560 in winnings!!!

143 fish were weighed in for a total of 413 pounds for an average of 2.89 lbs. each. Most of the larger fish werecaught on Carolina rigs, Jerk Baits and Crankbaits in 10-12′ of water off main point dropoffs and creek channels.
