Wow, what an awesome 2nd tournament, our meeting location was hosted at the Boydton Town Center, thanks so much to Brandon Slaughter for the amazng food and entertainment of Broken Vail and guest Singer Blake Nixon. It was so special to me to get to hear my son sing for us. The message shared by National Chaplain Ron Duffey was awesome, he wanted make sure we as christians knew the importance of what we do between the time we are born and the time we die. Our goal is to introduce as many folks to Christ as possible, lanting those seeds needed to allow the holy spirit move and grow the kingdom. Thank you Ron for a great message.

Well we blasted off at safe light from Occoneechee State Park with 41 teams competing. At the end of the day all 41 teams arrived back safely and on time. We had 8 teams place in the money. The winners at the end of the day with a weight of 16.6 pounds was Rich McWhirter and Sam Westbrook, with a 4.04 kicker. Congrates to the winners being able to take home the two trophys and a well earned check.

Big fish was caught by the team of Jackson Hudson and Robert Woods with a large mouth weighing 5.99 pounds.

Just out of the money was Mike Hawks and Jeff Leath and they were awarded the two new Berkley Rods at the conclusion of the wiegh in.
