Lowrance Pro Angler Dustin Connell Takes Home the Championship Title at Major League Fishing Stage Seven

Tulsa, Okla. – Lowrance®, a world-leader in fishing electronics since 1957, congratulates Lowrance pro angler Dustin Connell for his championship performance at the Major League Fishing (MLF) Bass Pro Tour Bally Bet Stage Seven Championship on Mille Lacs Lake in Onamia, Minn., September 10-15, 2022.

Using the Ultimate Fishing System, including HDS® LIVE displays and ActiveTarget® Live Sonar, Connell claimed the trophy and $100,000 with a final-day total of 20 fish weighing 82 pounds, 9 ounces.

“I caught all my fish using Lowrance ActiveTarget,” Connell said. “And this is actually my third win this season using the Ultimate Fishing System. ActiveTarget is incredible at being able to pinpoint isolated structure and rocks. I’m able to go right to it, drop my line and see exactly how fish are reacting. This was another great win for me using my Lowrance units.”

This is the Alabama Native’s third 2022 MLF Bass Pro Tour win, including Stage Three on Smith Lake and Stage Six on Cayuga Lake. Other career highlights include winning Elite Series Rookie of the Year honors in 2017 and the Redcrest 2021 title at Lake Eufaula, Ala.

Lowrance Pro anglers have claimed the victory of six out of the seven 2022 MLF Bass Pro Tour stages.  Additionally, among all MLF Bass Pro Tour anglers, more anglers used the HDS LIVE fishfinder than all other brands combined.
