KC Choosakul & Keith Barker Win Cashion Fishing Rods EOY Stop #5 October 22,2016 on Jordan Lake

CASHION FISHING RODS ‘END OF YEAR’ TEAM BASS FISHING TRAIL QUALIFIER #5 Saturday October 22nd, 2016 ~ Jordan Lake ~ Farrington Point Wildlife Ramp

23 teams skipped the State Fair to fish the makeup tournament for the September 3rd Qualifier #5 that was  postponed due to a tropical storm.  The winds ranged from light to a steady 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20, the air temps ranged from 52 to 63 and the water level was about 221 in the am and dropped to at least 220 during  the day. Surface water temps averaged 73 degrees! The weather was cool  but pretty and the lake looked great!

KC Choosakul and Keith Barker (subbing for Tim Penhollow) caught 5 bass weighing 14.69 lbs to take 1st Place, 1st Place TWT and 2nd Place Big Fish (4.66 lbs.) for a total of $1,433 in winnings!

2nd Place team was Vinston Nettles & Jimmie Spencer with 5 bass weighing 14.11 lbs. They also won 2nd Place TWT to take home a total of $615. The 3rd Place Team of Jason Kopp & Daniel Jenkins netted 5 bass weighing 14.04 for a total of $420. 1st Place Big Fish (4.97 lbs.) worth $322 was caught by Tony Fofi. 67 bass were brought to the scales for a total of 155 pounds averaging 2.31 lbs. each. Most were caught on Spinnerbaits, crankbait & jig & worm combos in water ranging from 6 to 20 feet around submerged structure and points.
