Another great day for fishing!! The PBC Cashion Fishing Rods ‘End of Year’ Trail Qualifier #2 at Jordan Lake was a winner!  It started off with a beautiful morning with hardly no wind and am temps at around 72. Air temps rose to about 90 at the 2pm weighin and the winds were still light. The rain held off too! Water temps averaged about 87degrees. The bite was typical for Summer but the top 6 teams were within 3 lbs. of each other! Real close at the top.We also had 2 beautiful bass over 8 lbs. weighed in! About 2/3rds of the 44 boat field weighed in fish. Not bad.

The hottest team this year, Josh Hooks & Jaime Fajardo, again won 1st Place weighing in 5 bass at 20.75 lbs. andalso won 1st Place TWT for a total of $2,035 in winnings.  Hooks on left, Fajardo on right. Ben Cannon & Chad Craven came in 2nd place with 5 fish  weighing 19.42 lbs. & also won 2nd Place TWT to pocket a total of $1,000. 3rd place team, Todd Sumner & Mike  Dinterman won $457 with 5 weighing 19.09 lbs. The 1st Place Big Fish weighed 8.17 lbs. and was caught by the team of Mark Jones & Curtis Grasty netting them $616 in cash!! Right on their heels the 4th Place Team of Christian  Johnson & Brian Morgan had a 8.10 pounder to take 2nd Big Fish and $264 in cash. 128 fish were weighed in for a total of 381 pounds for an average of 2.98 lbs. each. Most of the larger fish were caught on Texas rigs, Carolina rigs, and Crankbaits in 4-12′ of water off main point dropoffs, wood & rock ledges and creek channels.
