Next Tidewater Fall Qualifier is Oct 28 at the Chowan River – Pembroke Creek!

The first CATT Tidewater Division fall tournament took off this morning from Shoups landing on the Chowan River under cloudy skies with a cold front making it’s presence felt at blast off. Those cloudy skies gave way to a beautiful afternoon with sunny skies and lighter winds. However, the cold front seemed to put the bass in a somewhat non cooperative mood. Overall, Weights were down for the River but the team of Gary Debrito and Derek Goodman figured out how to get 5 good ones to cooperate compiling a 16.47 lb limit that included second big fish of the day weighing 4.86 lbs! There efforts earned them a $1400 payday!!! The team of Bobby Dunlop and Michael Kellet managed a very good bag on a tough day weighing 14.65 lbs that included the big fish of the day weighing 5.53 lbs. The following two teams rounded out the money winners.

Third place Matt Greschak and Ricky Hodges 13.24 lbs

Fourth place JA Wiliford and Mike Layton 12.39 lbs
