PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Crews and Missile Baits Take Aim at Autism Awareness Salem, Va. – April 9, 2013 – John Crews and Missile Baits are proud to announce a joint effort to raise awareness and funds for autism awareness. April is national Autism Awareness month. To bring attention to this effort, Crews and his company, Missile Baits, will do their part. John will have a specially designed jersey to wear during the month of April that features the interlocking puzzle pieces that is a symbol for autism. At the end of the month, the jersey will be signed and auctioned off. Missile Baits will donate a portion of all sales during the month of April to autism awareness. Crews states, “Autism is a very common problem in our society and it needs more attention and funding. The numbers are staggering and increasing. I want to bring as much attention to this situation so that researchers can try to find the best ways to reduce the number of cases and to help autistic people better deal with their condition.” Valley Fashions, who makes many of the pros jerseys, will provide the specially designed jersey. After April, the jersey will be auctioned off through My Little Buddy’s Boat, an autism awareness non-profit organization, which is run by avid bass angler, Eli Delany. Many of the pros on tour support Eli’s cause and have met his son, Luke, who is autistic. Delany adds,” Autism now affects 1 in every 88 children in the USA, 1 in every 53 boys. Mylittlebuddysboat.com wants to thank John and Missile Baits for their support of the kids, their families, and my mission with John’s Autism Awareness motif tournament shirt and sales donations during the month of April.” # # # MISSILE BAITS is a small company dedicated to creating SERIOUS soft plastic baits to help anglers catch more fish.
