Chris Markin Wins Big Bass Tour on Smith Mountain Lake with 8.08lbs

Another Big Bass Tour is in the books, and it was an event filled with highs and lows for anglers across Virginia and the surrounding areas. Everyone knew that Chris Markin’s 8.08 from Saturday would be tough to beat, but several anglers came close. Many fortunate individuals took home checks today, but none were able to best Chris’ beat. Chris waited with baited breath as the countdown as initiated and he was announced the winner of The Big Bass Tour and a brand new Nitro boat. He stood proudly with his son by his side before taking the stage and his trophy. Congratulations to the Markins and all the anglers who won this weekend. We look forward to seeing you for this event again in October.
